Launch of Kin Poetry Journey

Greetings all, it's D-Day. We have just made official the launch of Kin Poetry Journal.   The site launches with about half of the first issue, and the rest of this issue will be posted over the coming weeks. Our featured poet for this issue is Cyril Wong, and we are launching with his poem "Paper Boat" and a self-interview.  We also have poems by Anna Evans, Togara Muzanenhamo, and Miranda Field.  In his essay, "Some Thoughts on Wind and Rain," John Foy discusses the morality of form in the poetry of Thomas Hardy.

The site is still somewhat a work in progress.  Please excuse our dust for a while as we settle in. Our focus is and always will be on the poetry, and we'll keep the content coming almost every day. Keep an eye out for updates on Twitter and Facebook, and that's also a good way to post any comments on the site, the poems or the prose for now. If you want to reach us more directly, e-mail us at editors@wearekin.org., and if you want to send us some work to consider, please do consult the submissions page.

All the best,

Wendy, Uche, Walter and Eric
